Alabama Peanut Classic 13U Champions

The Wolfpack played some of the best Soccer I've ever seen them play this past weekend. In 4 games we scored 11 goals and only allowed 1. On Saturday morning in our first game vs Dothan Shockers 05B we went down early 1-0, but came back and won a hard fought game 2-1 and I felt we would see them again in the championship game. Our second game we played BCYSA Select Boys out of Florida and we controlled possession and played hard from beginning to end and won 5-0. Sunday morning we played a very good team NFM Boys Super Academy and it took two great headers from Lincoln and Jack to get past them 2-0. In our championship match we met the Dothan Shockers 05B again and it was a game you hate to see a loser because both teams played fantastic and fought to the very end. The match was scoreless for the first 45 min until Nick Roberts playing center mid got past 3 players then he sent a great ball to Lincoln Lascano who finished over the keeper from about 18 yds out to break the tie. Then with about 2 min left in the game Alex Aguilar scored a goal to seal the game. It was a great weekend for the Wolfpack!
